The PRT (Parent Resource Team) is a group of parents who work to support our educators so that they can focus on doing what they do best – educating our children! The PRT is made up of room representatives from each class in the school. The responsibilities of the room representatives are what you might expect from a traditional “room parent”: organizing class parties, collecting class funds, acting as a resource for other parents, preparing information for Back to School Night, etc. We also have a group of liaison members who provide supportive roles such as hosting meetings, developing spring fling auction items, and taking meeting minutes.
The PRT meets monthly, alternating between day meetings at school and evening meetings at member homes. At PRT meetings, we share information about what is coming up in the school year and explore how PRT members can best help support our educators and parents. Our meetings are always open to all CLC parents and we encourage you to attend a PRT meeting if you have not done so!
If you have questions about the PRT or would like more information, please email us.
