Ordering Hot Lunch
To Order Hot Lunch Please go to our Vendor's Site at Nob Hill Catering by clicking on button or the link. You must set up an account first with a credit card for billing. Before you order, be sure to check the calendar for class field trips and milestones to make sure you don't order for those days. A wide variety of meals is available each day, including vegetarian selections. Regular and Larger portions are also available. Note that even if you order hot lunch, many learners enjoy a mid-morning snack time, so it's a good idea to pack a small snack as well.

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to earn volunteer hours this year? If so, consider joining us as a hot lunch server (affectionately called "hotties").
The job involves arriving at Charter just before lunch, setting out the food selections for each day and attending to the learners as they come to get their lunches. Once the learners start coming, the whole process happens rather quickly and the job takes about half an hour. It's a great way to meet learners from all grades and an extra bonus of showing up to work in the middle of the day means you get DOUBLE hours for your work.
After hot lunch, volunteers are needed as extra pairs of eyes on the playground, so if you work for the whole lunch hour, you earn two hours towards your volunteer hours.
Each lunch shift requires two volunteers to make the process efficient and we have lots of experienced hotties who are able to train new recruits. If you aren't sure that you would like to make a one lunch a week comittment, consider being trained to fill in as a substitute as needed.
